Ghost Chair

Ghost Chair is a chair additively manufactured from milled sheets of Makrolon. During development, the focus was on making production as automated and efficient as possible. The Ghost Chair is characterized above all by its transparency, the stair-step effect typical of additive manufacturing and the invisible connection of the layers.

Voronoiio Chair

With this lounge chair, the aim was to create an ecologically valuable and exclusive piece of furniture using Layer Laminated Manufacturing. In contrast to conventional manufacturing processes, additive manufacturing not only enables limited and individual production, but also the unusual and complex structure that accentuates the soft and harmonious shape of this chair. With nature as inspiration, the structure grows along and into the piece of furniture, making it a unique yet functional art piece and a highlight in every living room.

Playa- Zero Gravity Chair

Exhaustion, workload and the constant pressure of everyday life vanish once you set eyes on this chair. While those are being replaced by the images of dunes, the sea and vacation, you will start to experience relaxation already. The user of this chair enjoys not only a pleasant sight but also a comfortable and ergonomic seating opportunity while maintaining an optimal neutral body posture. Lingering in this so called Zero-G position, which was discovered by NASA, will provide absolute support for the spine, prevent back pain, help improve the blood flow and reduce fatigue. This chair was designed by exploring the possibilities of Layer Laminated Manufacturing and is put together only with sustainable and eco-friendly cork plates. Playa is a great addition to ever wellness room in an office- for power naps or just a quick stress relief during a break.

Frontier

The additive manufacturing of seating furniture allows for more complex shapes, reducing the manufacturing restrictions and making it possible to manufacture a topologically optimized structure. It can be used in upholstered furniture to adjust the seating position and comfort. Finally, the topological optimization generates optically interesting geometries that are a unique selling point and make the product stand out positively.

Matroshka

This furniture design is based on effective production using Layer Laminated Manufacturing and sustainability. This is supported by the materials of the furniture design but also by the mechanical joining of the furniture. This furniture set is characterized mainly by its versatility and functionality, which consists of different placement options but is also supported by the color selection. The furniture set is designed for all generations, as the ergonomic design is designed for children and adults.

PhySide

The PhySide Table is a side table made by Layer Laminate Manufacturing, which consists of 92 individual layers of transparent sky-blue Makrolon. The special feature of this piece of furniture is the use of nature-inspired algorithms, which are responsible for the outer form of the side table. The irregular curves and indentations are created by the growth algorithm of the slime mould "Physarum Polycephalum" and reflect the organism's food procurement.
